Bhopal witnessed a groundbreaking moment in digital governance as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Cyber Registration Office of the Registration Department. Madhya Pradesh has become India’s pioneering state to roll out cyber registration for over 75 services, embracing the digital revolution under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership.
The CM emphasized that this initiative underscores the state government’s commitment to transparency, integrity, speed, innovation, and public welfare in administrative processes. Following the successful implementation of Sampada 1.0 and Sampada 2.0, cyber registration marks a new era of technology-driven good governance.
‘Madhya Pradesh is transforming at a rapid pace,’ declared Yadav. Services like loans, power of attorney, mining leases, affidavits, and partnership deeds can now be registered digitally. This paperless and cashless system promotes environmental conservation and ensures utmost transparency, especially benefiting the younger generation.
Key highlights include paperless transfers for government enterprises, Housing Board, and development authorities. Citizens no longer need to visit registration offices; everything from video KYC to final registration will be handled via video conferencing, saving both time and money.
Discussing e-governance milestones, the CM revealed that over 14.95 lakh documents have been registered so far. The Cyber Tehsil project spans 55 districts, enabling revenue partitions and name transfers through Sampada 2.0.
Deputy CM Jagdish Devda highlighted the rollout of advanced Sampada 2.0 software for 2024-25, facilitating digital, paperless registration of movable and immovable property documents. Many processes now bypass the need for sub-registrar offices, streamlining citizen services like never before.
This leap forward positions Madhya Pradesh as a leader in digital India, setting a benchmark for efficient, citizen-centric administration.
