Bhopal is buzzing with political activity as the Madhya Pradesh Congress kicks off a comprehensive talent hunt to select its new spokespersons, research coordinators, and publicity coordinators. State president Jitu Patwari made the formal announcement at the party headquarters, emphasizing the need for dynamic leaders in today’s evolving political landscape.
Patwari highlighted that the party seeks individuals brimming with energy, ideological commitment, and research acumen. These spokespersons must excel in articulating Congress’s core ideology to the masses. The selection criteria are stringent: unwavering loyalty to party principles, deep knowledge of current affairs, sharp communication skills, media savvy, factual presentation abilities, organizational discipline, and sensitivity to public concerns.
Applications for these coveted roles will be accepted until February 28. The process spans district, divisional, state, and national levels, offering talented youth a platform to shine. Divisional interviews will feature evaluators from AICC coordinators, talent hunt committee members, senior leaders, and district presidents. Final selections rest with the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
‘Congress is not just a political party; it’s a movement of ideas,’ Patwari declared. This initiative marks a shift where merit trumps recommendations. He urged youth, activists, and representatives to participate actively.
Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar praised the move as a vital step toward ideological strength and fact-based opposition. ‘We’re empowering youth who research and amplify the people’s voice with evidence,’ he said, adding it will bolster democratic values and scrutinize government claims rigorously.
Media department chair Mukesh Nayak detailed the limited, quality-driven selection: 20 state spokespersons, media panelists, two authorized spokespersons per division and district, two national panelists, and one special English media panelist. This structured approach promises to rejuvenate the party’s communication machinery ahead of future electoral battles.
