New Delhi is set to host a groundbreaking event in artificial intelligence as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on Monday at Bharat Mandapam. This massive expo, running alongside the India AI Impact Summit from February 16 to 20, promises to showcase the transformative power of AI on a global scale.
Spanning over 70,000 square meters across 10 arenas, the event will bring together tech giants, innovative startups, academic institutions, research bodies, central ministries, state governments, and international partners. With pavilions from 13 countries including Australia, Japan, Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African nations, the expo highlights international collaboration in the AI ecosystem.
Over 300 special exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations will captivate attendees, organized around three core themes: People, Planet, and Progress. More than 600 promising startups will present real-world AI solutions already making an impact on global populations.
Expectations are high with over 250,000 participants, including international delegates, anticipated to attend. The expo aims to forge new partnerships in the global AI landscape and unlock fresh business opportunities. Over 500 sessions featuring more than 3,250 expert speakers and panelists will delve into AI’s influence across sectors, exploring how to ensure its benefits reach every citizen worldwide.
This national showcase of AI in action will bridge policy and practice, innovation and implementation, technology and everyday citizens, positioning India as a leader in responsible AI advancement.
