New Delhi’s political arena heated up as BJP MPs unleashed a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of being completely overtaken by falsehoods. In a pointed critique, they claimed that spreading lies and misleading the public has become his hallmark in every political discourse.
BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal, speaking exclusively, described it as a calculated Congress strategy. ‘With Prime Minister Narendra Modi steering India towards rapid progress, and voters rejecting Congress in elections everywhere, they resort to deceiving the nation on every issue,’ he stated emphatically.
Turning to the India-US trade deal, Khandelwal dismissed Congress allegations. ‘They scare farmers by claiming their interests are harmed, but the BJP government has assured that no deal compromises India’s core interests,’ he clarified, slamming the opposition’s fear-mongering tactics.
Khandelwal didn’t hold back on Gandhi’s demeanor. ‘Lies have fully clouded Rahul Gandhi’s mind. His tone, his style—everything reeks of deception. This is Congress’s ingrained nature: fabricating stories to mislead,’ he asserted.
Joining the fray, BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia mocked Gandhi’s grasp of farmers’ issues. ‘Rahul shouldn’t even talk about farmers. He doesn’t know if potatoes grow in fields or factories. He’s utterly disconnected and unfit for politics,’ he quipped.
The MPs also touched on the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup clash. Khandelwal predicted a cricket rout mirroring military triumphs. ‘India beats Pakistan on battlefields and will crush them on the cricket pitch, proving our supremacy in all spheres,’ he declared.
Chandolia echoed the sentiment, wishing Team India luck while separating politics from sports. ‘Pakistan is our arch-rival; we never hesitate to dominate them, be it war or cricket,’ he added.
This exchange underscores deepening political divides ahead of key electoral battles, with BJP positioning itself as the guardian of truth against opposition misinformation.
