In a powerful display of faith and solidarity, thousands of devout Hindus gathered in Gopinathpur village, Pakur district, for the Virat Hindu Sammelan organized by the Hindu Coordination Committee. The event kicked off with a vibrant Kalash Yatra procession winding through the village streets, setting a devotional tone before the main program commenced.
Swami Parmanand Maharaj, a revered spiritual leader, took the stage to emphasize the eternal strength of Sanatan Dharma, the world’s oldest and most civilized culture. He warned against forces aiming to fragment Hindu society, spotlighting love jihad as a major threat. ‘To safeguard our heritage, educate children in gurukuls and embrace the mantra of Hindu unity—brotherhood among all,’ he urged. Daily practices like blowing the conch at home, performing rituals, and active worship are essential, he added.
Gopal Ji from Ranchi highlighted temples as the historic pillars of Hindu society. ‘From funding poor daughters’ weddings to aiding the sick, temples solved community woes until invaders demolished them to sow discord,’ he said. Today, a resurgent Hindu society is propelling India toward its destiny as the world guru.
Drawing from ancient sacrifices like Maharishi Dadhichi’s bone donation to vanquish demons, speakers called for environmental stewardship: plant trees, shun single-use plastics, clean rivers and ponds. Patriotism demands using Swadeshi products to boost local economies. The rally ended with renewed vows to protect culture, unity, and the nation.
