Patna, February 14: JD(U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan hailed the recently inked India-US trade agreement as a game-changer for India’s economic landscape. Speaking on a range of issues, Ranjan dismissed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s critiques on development and foreign relations as unclear and misguided.
The spokesperson emphasized that the pact, alongside fresh Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with the European Union and others, marks a strategic triumph for India. ‘This deal will empower Indian producers, spark new ventures, and bolster infrastructure expansion, giving our economy a massive fillip,’ he declared.
Marking the 7th anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, Ranjan condemned the Pakistan-backed assault that shook the world. ‘Such barbarity continues to shame humanity,’ he said, paying tribute to the Indian armed forces’ valor. He highlighted their surgical strikes on terror dens and firm responses to provocations, which humbled Pakistan on the global stage.
Ranjan also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of ‘Seva Tirth,’ underscoring the PM’s decade-long commitment to public service. ‘Renaming the office symbolizes governance rooted in service to the people,’ he noted.
Turning to Bihar politics, he fired back at RJD’s Rabri Devi’s call for Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary’s resignation. ‘She should first apologize for the dark era of her and her husband’s rule. Voters have repeatedly backed Nitish Kumar, while RJD has shrunk to just 25 seats,’ Ranjan retorted sharply.
