New Delhi marked a somber milestone on February 14 as the nation remembered the 7th anniversary of the devastating Pulwama terror attack. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, along with several prominent opposition figures, paid heartfelt tributes to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in 2019.
Rahul Gandhi took to social media platform X to express his profound respect. ‘My heartfelt tribute to our valiant soldiers martyred in the dastardly terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019. The nation will forever be indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice in defending Mother India,’ he wrote, sharing a poignant photo from his recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
The emotional resonance extended across the opposition spectrum. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra echoed similar sentiments, stating, ‘We all remain eternally grateful to our martyrs and their families. Their unwavering patriotism will always be remembered. My humble tribute to all the martyred soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack,’ he posted.
West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee kept her message concise yet powerful: ‘I salute the brave CRPF jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama attack on this day in 2019.’
