New Delhi is set to host a pivotal moment in international tech collaboration as India and Israel gear up to deepen their partnership in artificial intelligence, climate innovation, and digital transformation. An official statement released on Friday highlights how this alliance will tackle real-world challenges, from fortifying agriculture to building future-ready skills and promoting responsible AI deployment.

The Israeli Embassy in New Delhi announced that a high-level delegation from Israel will arrive next week for the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026.’ Leading the group is Ilan Flus, former ambassador to the Foreign Ministry and EDT&S policy coordinator. This team comprises government officials, tech experts, researchers, and policy specialists, all focused on advancing joint efforts in AI, climate resilience, ESG investments, digital governance, and ethical innovation.

Flus emphasized in a statement that as AI reshapes the global landscape, India and Israel bear a shared duty to drive innovation grounded in ethical principles. ‘Our partnership exemplifies how cutting-edge technology can align seamlessly with human values to foster progress,’ he noted. The summit marks the dawn of a fresh chapter in bilateral relations.

Delegates will engage in discussions on leveraging AI to combat climate change, precision farming, digital infrastructure, workforce transitions, and the ethical use of emerging technologies. The agenda also covers novel investment models for sustainable development and public-private partnerships.

Maya Sherman, Innovation Attaché at the Israeli Embassy, underscored the mutual commitment to people-centric technology. ‘This summit will further solidify the trust and collaboration between our nations,’ she said.

In the lead-up, the embassy has organized events to foster dialogue among Indian and Israeli experts from education, industry, and government. The main summit events will unfold at Bharat Mandapam, with collaborations involving IIT Ropar, Dhirubhai Ambani University, and think-tank The Dialogue to propel AI and tech advancements.
