In a significant meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence in Ranchi, senior scientist G.B.K. Subramaniam presented his groundbreaking indigenous cancer treatment machine to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Thursday rendezvous highlighted a revolutionary device poised to transform cancer care in India.
Subramaniam, Managing Director of Panashia Limited in Bengaluru and a former collaborator of late President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, detailed the machine’s advanced features. Crafted entirely with homegrown technology, this innovation is already making waves in hospitals across India and abroad. ‘This machine is proving highly effective against cancer, an otherwise incurable disease,’ the scientist emphasized during the courtesy call.
Chief Minister Soren lauded Subramaniam’s ingenuity, declaring the device a ‘boon for cancer patients.’ He underscored its potential to enable successful treatments for terminal illnesses right within the state. Soren highlighted Jharkhand’s ongoing efforts to bolster healthcare infrastructure, ensuring modern diagnostic and treatment facilities in local hospitals.
The rising incidence of cancer remains a pressing concern, prompting the government to commit fully to providing cutting-edge care locally. ‘We are taking concrete steps to strengthen health services,’ Soren affirmed, with MLA Rajesh Kachhap present at the event.
Subramaniam’s illustrious career includes joint research with Dr. Kalam, contributing to numerous scientific advancements. His cancer machine is now a staple in major medical centers worldwide, symbolizing India’s prowess in medical innovation. This encounter signals a promising chapter for accessible cancer therapy in Jharkhand.
