    New Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has achieved a remarkable milestone, securing the 6th position among the world’s strongest hospital brands in Brand Finance’s Global Top 250 Hospitals Report 2026. This prestigious ranking underscores India’s rising prominence in global healthcare, placing AIIMS alongside elite institutions like Johns Hopkins Medicine and Oxford University Hospitals.

    The report highlights AIIMS’s exceptional Brand Strength Index score of 79.9, a testament to its robust reputation. In research, AIIMS scored an impressive 79.4, reflecting the volume and consistency of its scientific contributions. Its care score of 76.1 further demonstrates the institute’s prowess in handling complex treatments and serving large patient volumes effectively.

    Compiled from evaluations of over 500 academic medical centers, the ranking incorporates insights from 2,500 healthcare professionals and more than 30 metrics. AIIMS stands out as South Asia’s strongest hospital brand. Released on February 5, 2026, at the London Stock Exchange, the report celebrates AIIMS’s leadership.

    Dr. McLaughlin, AIIMS Director, expressed delight, attributing the success to the tireless efforts of doctors, nurses, researchers, and staff.
