In a vibrant session of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ in Raipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged directly with students, emphasizing that fearlessness is the first step to leadership and success. Speaking at the ninth edition’s second episode, PM Modi shared invaluable life lessons with the youth of Chhattisgarh.
The event kicked off with PM Modi’s warm ‘Jai Johar’ greeting, met with enthusiastic responses from the students. He savored local delicacy khurmi, even distributing it among the attendees, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie.
Addressing exam stress, PM Modi advised students to trust their preparation. ‘Everything you’ve studied is stored within you,’ he said, urging calm focus during tests. He likened studying to sports, stressing consistent practice and resilience, much like athletes build strength through training and competition.
On balancing studies and sports, the Prime Minister was clear: both are essential. Neglecting one for the other is a mistake. Sports teach discipline and balance, qualities vital for a well-rounded life.
Responding to queries on travel post-exams, PM Modi recommended exploring local gems first—tehsil, district, then state. Travel simply: by train, with home-cooked meals, mingling with common folk. ‘India’s diversity is endless; one lifetime isn’t enough to explore it,’ he remarked.
Environmental conservation drew practical tips: turn off the tap while brushing, reuse household water for plants. He cited a school where such habits turned the campus lush green.
Finally, on leadership, PM Modi declared, ‘To be a leader, first be fearless. Start with yourself—’I will do it, regardless.’ True leadership is inspiring and guiding others, not just speeches or elections.’
Students left inspired, calling the interaction a dream come true. ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ proves to be more than exam prep—it’s a platform for life’s holistic discussions, showcasing the awareness of today’s youth.
