New Delhi buzzed with warmth during the second episode of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’ as Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a heartfelt reunion with two young brothers from Gujarat, Avi and Jay. The moment their names were announced, a broad smile spread across the PM’s face, and he pulled Jay into a tight embrace, evoking cheers from the audience of students.

This wasn’t their first encounter. Back in 2022, Modi had met the brothers during a previous event, forging a memorable connection. As they stepped forward for introductions, the PM reminisced fondly, asking the other students, ‘Have Avi and Jay grown brave now?’ The room erupted in affirmative responses, setting a joyful tone for the session.

The program quickly delved into substantive discussions, with Modi engaging Gujarat’s students, including those from tribal areas, on critical topics like education, stress management, career paths, and the vital role of tribal communities in nation-building. Students greeted him in their local dialects, thrilled to see him donning a jacket adorned with traditional folk art.

One excited student remarked, ‘Sir, we’re overjoyed to meet you. Everyone dreams of this moment, and we feel truly honored today.’ Modi responded by sharing personal anecdotes from his time in Gujarat’s tribal regions. He recalled the ‘Pal-Chitariya’ incident and the severe famine that tested the resilience of these communities.

‘During that famine, I spent considerable time working there,’ Modi shared. ‘It taught me the paramount importance of education. When I became Chief Minister, establishing science schools from Umargam to Ambaji became a priority—none existed before.’ He emphasized that robust education infrastructure forms the bedrock of sustainable development, inspiring the young audience to dream big and contribute to India’s progress.

The session underscored Modi’s commitment to inclusive growth, blending personal warmth with visionary insights, leaving students motivated and empowered.
