In a stunning family drama unfolding in Bihar’s political circles, Anushka Yadav, who grabbed headlines for her alleged association with Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tej Pratap Yadav, has given birth to a baby girl on Sunday, February 8. The news, however, has been overshadowed by Tej Pratap’s firm denial of any connection to her or the newborn.
Tej Pratap, son of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav and chief of Janashakti Janata Dal, issued a strong statement distancing himself completely. ‘I have no relation whatsoever with Anushka Yadav or her child,’ he declared, accusing a group of detractors of orchestrating a smear campaign against him. He labeled them as ‘Jaichands’ – traitors working on ulterior motives to tarnish his image.
Delving deeper into the controversy, Tej Pratap claimed his social media account was hacked when a photo with Anushka went viral last year. That incident had sparked massive uproar, leading to his expulsion from the RJD for six years by his father. Now, he’s pointing fingers at five individuals he holds responsible: Mukesh Raushan, Sanjay Yadav, Ramiz, Shakti Singh, and Sunil Singh.
‘Mukesh Raushan is masterminding this plot and even wants me dead,’ Tej Pratap alleged, revealing that these ‘five Jaichands’ were behind his ouster from home and pushed him into severe depression, to the point of suicidal thoughts. He mentioned receiving blessings from his father at a dahi chuda event, which irked his adversaries.
Adding another twist, Tej Pratap exposed that Anushka has ties with a man named Alok Gurjar. ‘Who is Alok Gurjar, and what is her relationship with him? She should clarify,’ he demanded, vowing to take legal action and seek intervention from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The saga dates back to last year when Tej Pratap briefly posted and deleted a photo with Anushka on social media, later admitting in an interview that it was his account but claiming love was no crime. His brother Tejashwi had publicly expressed dismay. Bihar’s home minister has reportedly assured a meeting. As accusations fly, this political family’s internal rift continues to captivate the nation.
