HARIDWAR – In a spectacular display of spiritual unity and national pride, the second day of the Guru Samadhi and idol installation ceremony at Bharat Mata Temple drew saints, leaders, and devotees from across India. The event paid homage to the legendary Swami Satyamitranand Maharaj, whose lifelong dedication to Sanatan Dharma and patriotism left an indelible mark on the nation.

Swami Satyamitranand, a recipient of the Padma Bhushan, founded the Bharat Mata Temple as a beacon of Indian culture and heritage. His efforts strengthened the roots of nationalism and ancient traditions, inspiring generations to embrace their cultural legacy.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the occasion. ‘This ceremony commemorates the eternal saint Swami Satyamitranand, guru of Swami Awadheshanand Giri. He promoted culture and harmony, standing as a symbol of patriotism. Future generations will draw inspiration from him to serve Sanatan Dharma,’ Dhami stated.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, attending on the invitation of Juna Peethadheeshwar Maharaj, lauded the temple’s establishment as a monumental achievement. ‘The presence of distinguished guests has made this event a resounding success,’ he remarked, recounting Swami’s contributions with pride.

Swami Awadheshanand Giri highlighted the high-profile attendees, including Bihar’s Governor, Jammu & Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister Rajnath Singh. ‘We are discussing India’s unity and Sanatan values. Sanatan Dharma is India’s backbone—if it thrives, India thrives,’ he declared.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev shared profound insights: ‘No path, nation, caste, or thought is superior; all embody the same divine essence. Conflicts arise from supremacy claims, but Sanatan teaches equality. Saints like Swami Satyamitranand inspire us with their spiritual and saintly essence.’

The ceremony underscored the timeless relevance of Sanatan principles in fostering national cohesion, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of purpose and devotion.
