Patna, February 5: Aayushi Arya, a participant and presenter at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, firmly believes that India’s youth will play a pivotal role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious vision for a developed India.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 has emerged as a powerful platform, reflecting PM Modi’s commitment to involving young minds in nation-building. Here, the voices of the youth are directly shaping policy discussions and future strategies.

Hailing from Patna, Bihar, and serving as a My Bharat volunteer, Aayushi shared her insights on women-led development in the presence of the Prime Minister during the event. Currently pursuing her graduation in Patna, she described the experience to IANS as profoundly inspiring, filling her with pride for representing India’s young voices.

‘The feedback from the Prime Minister and leadership was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging,’ Aayushi said. ‘It reinforced our belief that the government is genuinely listening to young Indians.’

PM Modi referred to the youth as a think tank—a generation that thinks independently and brings fresh ideas. Aayushi highlighted how Gen Z, often dismissed as unserious, is now being recognized for its creativity and foresight. ‘This dialogue marked a turning point where youth are no longer mere discussants but integral to policymaking,’ she noted. For the first time, young voices are being integrated at the highest levels of governance, making it a historic moment for India’s youth.

Commenting on the Union Budget, Aayushi called it a proud moment when the Finance Minister referenced the Young Leaders Dialogue in Parliament, describing the budget as youth-driven. ‘It clearly shows how ideas from young leaders are reflected in policies and allocations,’ she added.

On the focus on the orange economy, Aayushi praised the government’s emphasis on content, culture, and digital creators as timely and visionary, especially with Gen Z dominating the digital ecosystem. Recognizing digital creators and cultural industries could steer India’s economy in a new direction.

Initiatives in Digital India, drones, defense, and advanced technology, she said, will position India to compete with global powers. Innovations in drones and defense tech will not only foster self-reliance but also inspire other nations.

Aayushi emphasized that with the government trusting youth- and women-led development, India’s future is secure in the hands of young innovators. ‘Youth power is one of the strongest pillars for Viksit Bharat 2047, and with the right opportunities, India can achieve greatness sooner,’ she asserted.

Echoing PM Modi’s message, she urged youth to move beyond job-seeking to job creation, explore technology, innovation, and startups, and actively contribute to India’s growth story. With confidence, creativity, and government support, India’s youth can transform the nation into one of the world’s most powerful countries.
