New Delhi buzzes with fresh political fireworks as BJP MP Naresh Bansal unleashes a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. In a pointed interview, Bansal accused Gandhi of descending into frustration-driven anarchy, tarnishing the dignity of parliamentary discourse.

Bansal didn’t mince words, declaring that Gandhi’s repeated failures on key issues have pushed him to stoop to deplorable language. ‘Politics demands decorum, but Rahul seems utterly defeated,’ Bansal remarked. He criticized Gandhi’s outbursts over former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane’s unpublished book excerpts, which a magazine highlighted. ‘Twisting words from an unreleased book to create pandemonium? The Leader of Opposition must respect House rules,’ Bansal asserted.

Turning to India-US trade negotiations, Bansal lambasted the opposition for premature protests. ‘They should have waited for the minister’s statement in Parliament,’ he said. Emphasizing national interests, Bansal explained the delays in the deal stemmed from India’s firm stance on its priorities during bilateral talks.

On the Supreme Court hearing regarding Punjab and Bengal governments’ plea against the Citizenship Amendment Act implementation, Bansal took a dig at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. ‘She can fight her own battles with her law degree,’ he quipped, predicting acceptance of the court’s verdict. Accusing Banerjee of desperation over losing her vote bank of Bangladesh immigrants due to CAA, Bansal painted a grim picture of lawlessness and corruption in Bengal, where opposition workers face assaults and threats.

This exchange underscores deepening rifts ahead of crucial sessions, with BJP positioning itself as the guardian of order against opposition’s alleged disruptive tactics.
