In the heart of Patna, a powerful visual narrative is set to unfold, capturing the unyielding spirit of Bihar’s flood-ravaged communities. Titled ‘Visual Tales: Cycles of Survival,’ this exhibition under the ‘Nature 2026’ initiative will run from February 6 to 8, 2026, at Kamla Nehru Shishu Vihar High School in Patliputra Colony.

Northern Bihar’s annual battle with floods has long tested the limits of human endurance. This exhibit brings those stories to life through compelling photographs that go beyond mere destruction. Visitors will witness the profound transformations in livelihoods, daily routines, and entire ecosystems wrought by relentless waters.

The images poignantly highlight the grit of survivors who rebuild year after year. For these resilient souls, surrender is not an option; reconstruction is a relentless necessity. Each frame tells a story of perseverance, from makeshift boats navigating submerged villages to families piecing together homes amid receding floods.

More than a showcase of tragedy, the exhibition honors the dignity and adaptability of affected communities. It serves as a vital bridge, channeling grassroots realities to policymakers and urging action on flood mitigation. Organizers emphasize its role in documenting collective efforts that sustain life against nature’s fury.

Open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, the event invites Patna residents and visitors alike to engage with these narratives. It’s an opportunity to reflect on climate challenges and human tenacity, fostering empathy and awareness in the face of recurring disasters.
