    China’s Software Industry Revenue Surges 13.2% in 2025

    According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s software sector demonstrated remarkable growth in 2025. Total revenue reached 15.4831 trillion yuan, representing a 13.2 percent increase year-on-year. This growth highlights the sector’s pivotal role in China’s digital transformation. Profits for the industry rose by 7.3 percent to 1.8848 trillion yuan, while exports reached 62.73 billion USD, a 7.7 percent increase. Within the industry, IT services saw the most significant boost, growing 14.7 percent to reach 10.6366 trillion yuan, accounting for 68.7 percent of total revenue.
