New Delhi, February 2: In a remarkable transformation, former actress Ishika Taneja, who left the glitz of showbiz after a profound experience at Mahakumbh, has embraced Sanatana Dharma wholeheartedly. Now, she’s on a mission to inspire the youth through her newly launched Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyan under the Sri Mahalakshmi Foundation.
Speaking exclusively, Ishika revealed the campaign’s core aim: to recognize and honor the diverse forms of Goddess Lakshmi across society. ‘Gajalakshmi represents our ministers, Veeralakshmi our armed forces, Vijayalakshmi our judges, Santanlakshmi the youth, and Aishwaryalakshmi the media and social platforms,’ she explained. The initiative seeks to connect these facets with spiritual values, expanding to eight states with growing participation from national and international delegations.
Ishika drew parallels between her spiritual journey and current events, praising the recent Union Budget as inclusive like Sanatana Dharma itself. ‘Presented on Magha Purnima, the budget embodies Lakshmi’s grace, ensuring prosperity for all sectors. Just as our faith welcomes everyone, this financial roadmap strengthens the rupee and weakens the dollar,’ she asserted.
On the vision of a Hindu Rashtra, Ishika emphasized reconnecting with roots. ‘India will truly become a Hindu nation when we honor our heritage and redefine Lakshmi through service, not corruption. Our campaign aims to echo ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ in every corner.’
Once starring in ‘Indu Sarkar’, ‘Dil Mangdi’, and ‘Had’, Ishika bid farewell to acting at Mahakumbh 2025, choosing a life of devotion. Her campaign is already gaining momentum, blending spirituality with national pride.
