Chandigarh, January 27: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday assured that every suggestion from the public and legislators will be meticulously considered to craft a 2026-27 budget that instills confidence and hope in every citizen of the state.
Speaking at a pre-budget consultation meeting in Panchkula with ministers, MPs, and MLAs on the Haryana Vision 2047 action plan, Saini highlighted the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in budget preparation. ‘AI will play a crucial part in formulating the upcoming budget,’ he stated.
Launched on January 6, the AI-powered app for pre-budget suggestions has already garnered over 9,000 inputs, with valuable ones set to be incorporated. The meeting saw detailed proposals from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha members, MLAs, and ministers on budget priorities.
Saini urged citizens to submit ideas via the portal by January 31, promising definite action. These consultations, starting in Gurugram, have now concluded after 12 sessions involving 1,597 stakeholders from industries, education, women’s groups, health, farmers, sarpanches, councilors, youth, and organizations, yielding 1,513 suggestions.
‘This won’t be just the government’s budget; it will be the budget of Haryana’s 28 million people,’ Saini emphasized. ‘More than a document of numbers, it will bridge current needs with future dreams.’ Under PM Narendra Modi’s guidance, with legislators’ support and public trust, the vision of Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana 2047 will be realized, he affirmed.
