In a vibrant display of patriotism, the Delhi BJP Media Department organized a special screening of the highly anticipated film ‘Border 2’ at the Delight Diamond Hall on Saturday. This event brought together party leaders, workers, and local media professionals from the Matia Mahal assembly constituency, fostering a sense of national pride amid the buzz of Delhi’s political scene.
Delhi BJP President Virender Sachdeva graced the occasion, watching the film alongside enthusiastic attendees. He was warmly welcomed by state BJP Media Department head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, along with prominent spokespersons like Vikram Mittal, Yasir Jilani, Nitin Tyagi, Vikram Vidhuri, and Amit Gupta. The gathering was not just a movie viewing but a platform to celebrate India’s military valor as depicted in the sequel to the iconic 1997 war drama.
Speaking to journalists after the screening, Sachdeva emphasized the film’s core message of determination and resilience. ‘If we have the resolve to achieve something, no obstacle is insurmountable,’ he declared, drawing parallels to real-life heroism. He recounted how, despite heavy rains on January 23, Indian armed forces impeccably rehearsed for the Republic Day parade, showcasing unwavering discipline that fills every Indian with pride.
Sachdeva highlighted how Republic Day military displays and tableaux remind us of India’s glorious past and promising future. ‘Our nation’s saga of glory is ancient and illustrious; no event can dim our valor,’ he asserted. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he added, India marches forward relentlessly, undeterred by any hurdles.
Praveen Shankar Kapoor echoed these sentiments, noting that ‘Border 2’ vividly portrays the Indian Army’s bravery to the younger generation. The film’s success underscores the deep-rooted nationalism among youth and society at large, proving that patriotic cinema continues to resonate strongly in contemporary India.
This event comes at a timely juncture, just ahead of Republic Day, reinforcing the BJP’s commitment to honoring soldiers and instilling patriotic fervor. As discussions on national security and youth engagement gain traction, such initiatives highlight the party’s proactive approach to cultural diplomacy.
