In a profound display of devotion and commitment to global harmony, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in the nine-day Ramkatha discourse by renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. During the event, she announced a generous donation of her one-month salary to the World Peace Center Mission, underscoring her dedication to peace initiatives.
Rekha Gupta, addressing the gathered devotees, highlighted the timeless teachings embedded in Morari Bapu’s Ramkatha. ‘This sacred narration instills values of service, compassion, and ethical national upbringing,’ she stated. The event, she added, serves as a catalyst for awakening positive consciousness across society, fostering unity and moral strength.
The Chief Minister also praised the inspirational guidance of Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni, whose organization, Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, relentlessly promotes service, harmony, and public welfare. Under Acharya Lokesh Muni’s leadership, such initiatives bolster India’s cultural ethos, non-violence, and global peace resolutions, she noted.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind, serving as the chairman of the event’s organizing committee, commended CM Gupta’s salary donation as a shining example for society. He emphasized how such acts inspire collective action toward noble causes.
During the Ramkatha, Morari Bapu extolled the eternal and universal nature of Sanatan Dharma. He warmly invited Acharya Lokesh Muni to the vyaspeeth, offering blessings, and lauded CM Gupta’s resolute pledge to swiftly clean the Yamuna River. This convergence of spiritual leaders and political figures marks a significant moment in blending faith with public service, promising ripple effects for societal betterment and environmental restoration.
