The Jharkhand Police have arrested a Judicial Magistrate from Samastipur, Bihar, for allegedly orchestrating a contract killing attempt on his wife in Godda. Santosh Kumar Sah reportedly hired hitmen for Rs 2 lakh to eliminate his wife, Vandana Kumari, following a strained relationship and ongoing legal disputes. The victim was shot at Gandhigram Chowk on January 17 but survived and is receiving treatment in Bhagalpur.
