A devastating explosion at a steel plant in Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar-Bhatapara district has claimed the lives of at least seven workers and left several others critically injured. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning at the ‘Real Ispat’ sponge iron factory located in Bakulahi. According to eyewitnesses, the blast took place within the sponge iron unit while operations were in full swing, sending shockwaves across a several-kilometer radius. Emergency services rushed to the scene to initiate a rescue operation, while the injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
