Union Minister and President of the Republican Party of India (A), Ramdas Athawale, has made a significant political overture to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. During his visit to the state, Athawale extended an open invitation to Soren to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), asserting that such a move would be instrumental for the state’s progress. He argued that alignment with the BJP-led coalition would ensure a more substantial flow of central funds and resources to Jharkhand, thereby accelerating developmental projects. Athawale urged the Chief Minister to reconsider his current political alliance with the Congress party, suggesting that joining forces with Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be a ‘revolutionary’ decision for the welfare of the people of Jharkhand.
