During a high-level review meeting on Wednesday, the Chief Minister emphasized that UP Day should embody the soul of Uttar Pradesh at every level. ‘This is our chance to highlight our identity, achievements, and future potential with public support,’ he declared. With Union Home Minister Amit Shah gracing the occasion as chief guest, the event promises national prominence, demanding flawless arrangements in dignity, discipline, and timeliness.
The main ceremony will unfold at the Rashtraprerna Sthal in the capital, live-streamed to all districts for a synchronized statewide celebration. A highlight will be a thematic exhibition under ‘Developed India – Developed Uttar Pradesh,’ spotlighting innovations in infrastructure, industry, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and self-reliance.
Food lovers are in for a treat with ‘One District-One Dish,’ bringing unique traditional recipes from each district under one roof, offering visitors a taste of UP’s diverse culinary heritage. Cultural programs from the 2025-26 festival will integrate seamlessly, featuring folk, classical, and contemporary arts under the banner ‘Our Culture-Our Identity.’ On January 24, distinguished citizens from various fields across districts will be honored, celebrating collective accomplishments.
