Mumbai’s political arena heated up as Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Sanjay Raut, accusing him of indulging in mere rhetoric while ignoring substantive issues. Speaking to media outlets, NC highlighted the gravity of discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where global CEOs, chief ministers, and union ministers converge to propel India’s investment agenda.
‘Davos isn’t a picnic spot,’ NC remarked sharply. ‘It’s a platform where over 100 top executives deliberate on attracting investments into critical sectors like defense, semiconductors, renewable energy, electronics, and infrastructure. This aligns perfectly with the vision of Viksit Maharashtra, Viksit Mumbai, and Viksit Bharat by 2047, championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.’
She emphasized that anyone grasping logistics costs, infrastructure needs, education, and global geopolitics would appreciate how dialogues resolve trade disputes and foster business growth. Raut, she alleged, fails to comprehend these depths, sticking to superficial political jabs.
Turning to the Mahayuti alliance, NC asserted its unbreakable unity under Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. ‘The mayor’s decision will be consensual, debunking opposition’s false narratives,’ she declared.
Praising BJP’s organizational ethos, she cited Nitin Nabin’s rise from a Bihar grassroots worker to party president as proof of meritocracy. ‘This is the generation shift—youth are not just the future but the present,’ NC added.
On development, she outlined a politics of progress and inclusion, referencing ‘Mumbai Majhi Ladki’ initiatives to make the city a heartbeat for all residents. Addressing Hindutva, NC clarified it means justice for all, not appeasement, accusing rivals of exploiting colors like saffron and green for vote banks.
NC didn’t spare Rahul Gandhi, criticizing his globe-trotting narrative-spinning that tarnishes India’s image. ‘People now prioritize development and stability over such antics,’ she concluded, confident that Mahayuti will elevate Maharashtra to new heights.
