Hyderabad: On the solemn occasion of the 30th death anniversary of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao, his family gathered to honor his enduring legacy. NTR’s son, popular actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, led the tributes with deep emotion, recalling his father’s monumental contributions to cinema and politics.
Balakrishna, flanked by family members, offered floral tributes at NTR’s memorial in Hyderabad. ‘My father was not just a star; he was a visionary who transformed lives,’ he said, his voice choked with emotion. The event saw hundreds of fans and admirers joining in, turning it into a grand commemoration of the icon’s life.
NTR’s grandson, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son, also paid heartfelt respects, sharing personal anecdotes from his childhood spent in the shadow of the great leader. He highlighted NTR’s role in empowering the common man through his political party, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which he founded in 1982.
