A startling incident unfolded in Balod district, Chhattisgarh, where a pet dog, missing for three days, returned home and unleashed a reign of terror. Within a mere hour, the animal attacked and injured 12 people across the villages of Naragaon and Narra. The dog, belonging to Navala Bai of Naragaon, had been absent from its home for several days before its aggressive return. The injured, including Devanti Bai (35), Navala Bai (65), Pushpa Bai (45), and Shishupal (40), have been admitted to Dhamtari District Hospital for treatment. The sudden outbreak of canine attacks has instilled widespread fear in the affected villages. Prior to this, the dog had also bitten two individuals in Bori village. The elusive dog remains at large, heightening the anxiety among residents.
