The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken significant action in the Mahadev Online Book betting case, attaching assets valued at approximately Rs 21.45 crore. The action, conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, by the ED’s Raipur Zonal Office on January 10, 2026, aimed to dismantle a massive illegal gambling network. The attached assets include movable properties worth Rs 98.55 lakh and 27 immovable properties valued at Rs 20.46 crore, located in India and Dubai. Key figures targeted include Ravi Uppal, whose Dubai property worth Rs 6.75 crore was attached, and associates of Saurabh Chandrakar. Investigations reveal the network was managed from Dubai, utilizing platforms like Tiger Exchange and Gold365. To date, assets worth Rs 2621 crore have been seized in this ongoing probe.
