The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 season is almost here, and fans can now plan to secure their tickets. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that ticket sales commence on December 26 at 6 PM IST for the tournament running January 9 to February 5.
This year’s WPL will be hosted across two popular cricket venues: DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai and BCA Stadium in Vadodara. Fans looking to attend matches will need to use the newly appointed official ticketing agency, District, a platform powered by Zomato. This partnership is new for the WPL, offering a streamlined purchasing process.
Ticket purchasing channels include the District website and mobile application. Fans can also secure tickets through the official WPL website, www.wplt20.com, or the dedicated WPL Official App, available for both iOS and Android users. The shift to a January-February schedule is a notable change, designed to better align with the international women’s cricket calendar.
The opening match features the formidable Mumbai Indians against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The tournament will see 11 games in Navi Mumbai before moving to Vadodara for the remaining league matches and the playoffs, concluding with the final on February 5.
