The Second International Meditation Day, observed on December 21st, became a special occasion in Ranchi with the launch of the updated edition of the yoga book, “Yoga in a Glance.” The revised version, a collaborative effort by Dr. Parineeta Singh and Dr. Archana Kumari, was ceremoniously released by the Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, from his residence. Dr. Parineeta Singh noted that this publication is their fourth contribution to the field of yoga, following their earlier books such as “Yoga in a Glance,” “Abhyasam,” and “Traditional Yoga.” She conveyed that the primary goal behind this book is to showcase their deep respect for Indian culture. Designed for all demographics, the book is expected to be a valuable resource. Dr. Archana Kumari explained that “Yoga in a Glance” simplifies complex yogic principles into theoretical concepts, making them digestible for any reader through its accessible language. This approach ensures that the essence of yoga is understood by all.
