    A significant observance took place in Ranchi on Monday, with the Punjabi Hindu Biradari honoring the 97th death anniversary of the distinguished nationalist leader, Lala Lajpat Rai, celebrated as ‘Punjab Kesari’. The tribute event, held at Lala Lajpat Rai Chowk on Mahatma Gandhi Marg, saw community members congregating to express their deep reverence. The proceedings involved the ceremonial placement of garlands and floral tributes upon the statue of the revered leader. Arun Chawla delivered an address, highlighting the extraordinary life, patriotic dedication, and ultimate sacrifice of Lala Lajpat Rai for the country. He guided the attendees in taking a solemn pledge to adhere to his teachings and principles. Enthusiastic slogans of ‘Lala Lajpat Rai Amar Rahein’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ echoed through the venue, signifying the lasting impact of his contributions. Among those present were Biradari President Sudhir Uggal, Rajesh Mehra, Mukul Taneja, Rajesh Khanna, Arun Chawla, Ravi Parashar, Rahul Seth, and Harjit Jaggi, all participating in this commemoration.
