India has sharply criticized Pakistan’s decision to blame New Delhi for the suicide attack that rocked Islamabad, characterizing it as a ‘predictable tactic’ and a ‘desperate diversionary ploy.’ India’s Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson emphasized that the global community is well aware of such strategies and will not be misled. The spokesperson further elaborated that fabricating false narratives against India is a deliberate attempt by Pakistani leadership to divert public attention from pressing internal issues, including alleged constitutional subversion orchestrated by the military. The devastating suicide blast near an Islamabad court claimed 12 lives and left 36 people wounded. Pakistani authorities confirmed it was a suicide attack, with the perpetrator detonating explosives outside the court premises. While the attack’s responsibility remains unclaimed, Pakistan’s Prime Minister has publicly accused India of orchestrating state-sponsored terrorism. This development occurs in the wake of a significant blast in New Delhi. Pakistani officials are actively working to identify the individual responsible for the Islamabad bombing.
