In Koderma, Modern Public School has initiated a ‘Tribal Pride Fortnight’ in honor of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 150th birth anniversary. The observance began with a stirring drama presented by students in the morning assembly, vividly narrating the life and sacrifices of the legendary tribal leader. Students Ankit Kumar, Ranvir Kumar, Sunay Shahana, Roshan Kumar, Kundan Kumar, Kimsi Kumari, Ansh Kumar, Vivhan Kumar, and Shashi Kumar impressively depicted Birsa Munda’s fight for freedom and tribal empowerment. Teachers Sandeep Kumar and Satyabhama Thakur provided crucial mentorship for the production. The primary goal of this fortnight is to shed light on the contributions of India’s tribal freedom fighters and to foster an appreciation for tribal art, culture, and heritage among students. The school has planned numerous related activities to fulfill these educational aims.
