On the occasion of Chhattisgarh’s 25th statehood day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced Nava Raipur to inaugurate an array of transformative development projects, signaling a robust future for the state. With investments exceeding Rs 14,260 crore, these initiatives span vital sectors including infrastructure, industry, healthcare, and energy. Modi emphasized the widespread availability of electricity and internet in villages, a testament to the government’s commitment to grassroots development. He also highlighted the expansive reach of the Ujjwala gas scheme to remote and marginalized communities. The Prime Minister proudly pointed out the 40,000 km road network built since Chhattisgarh’s inception, drastically improving connectivity to previously remote villages. A significant milestone was the official handover of 3.51 lakh homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, coupled with a Rs 1,200 crore disbursement for rural housing, underscoring a focus on dignified living for all. The inauguration of the new Vidhan Sabha building, designed with green principles, including solar power and rainwater harvesting, showcased a commitment to sustainable development.
