Medical Training Prevents Tragedy on Rajdhani

An 8-month-old baby is alive today thanks to the quick thinking and medical skills of an Indian Army soldier. The life-saving event took place on the Rajdhani Express en route to Dibrugarh on October 13, 2025. Sepoy Sunil, an Ambulance Assistant returning from leave, was in the S4 compartment when the infant suffered a sudden, severe respiratory crisis and became unresponsive. Amidst the ensuing panic, with the baby’s mother also fainting, Sepoy Sunil assessed the critical situation.
