Structures shook in Taipei early on Wednesday morning as two earthquakes in fast succession, the most powerful with a magnitude of 6.6, struck southeastern Taiwan, however there have been no instant stories of wear and tear.
The inner most had a intensity of 30.6 km (19 miles) and the opposite one used to be 19.3 km deep. They may each be felt throughout Taiwan, with the epicenters in Hualien county – one simply offshore – and with regards to the town of Taitung, the elements bureau mentioned.
