Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor lead ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,’ a romantic comedy aiming to revive the genre. The film also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, focusing on Sunny and Tulsi’s mission to win back their exes. The movie is in competition with ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, a film that’s proving to be a strong contender.
Early estimates indicate that ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ earned Rs 5.25 crore on its second day, according to Sacnilk. The total collection for the movie is Rs 14.50 crore.
The song ‘Panwadi’ has also gained attention. Varun Dhawan described the shooting of the song as a celebration, filled with vibrant colours and infectious energy. He also commended the singers Khesari Lal and Masoom Sharma for their contributions. Janhvi Kapoor shared her experience, highlighting the energetic atmosphere.
The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment present. It marks the second time Varun and Janhvi have collaborated on a film.
