    Raipur, October 02, 2025/ Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman for granting approval of Rs 3,462 crore under tax devolution for the state of Chhattisgarh.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this allocation given by the central government on the auspicious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra is truly a precious gift for the people of Chhattisgarh. This amount will further strengthen the state’s financial resources, accelerate development projects and give new energy to public welfare schemes.

    He said that the double engine government of the center and the state is continuously committed to taking Chhattisgarh to new heights of progress and prosperity. Chief Minister Mr. Sai expressed confidence that with this cooperation, the lives of the people of the state will become more happy and secure.

    It is noteworthy that keeping in view the upcoming festive season and to enable the states to expedite capital expenditure and to finance their development/welfare related expenditure, the central government has released an additional tax devolution of Rs 1,01,603 crore to the state governments on October 1, 2025. This is in addition to the normal monthly transfer to be released on October 10, 2025.
