A gruesome act of violence has been carried out by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. Pujari Madkam Bhima, a villager, was murdered by Naxals in the Usur police station area. They attacked him with an axe inside his home, in the presence of his family. The victim was accused of being a police informant. This event has caused immense shock and fear in the community. Madkam Bhima was at home with his family when the attack happened. At night, about four or five Naxals, disguised in ordinary clothes, reached his house. They dragged Madkam out of the house in front of his family. He was brutally assaulted and then killed with an axe. After the act, the Naxals escaped from the location.
