A police encounter on Jaitpur–Kalindi Kunj Road led to the arrest of two members of the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang. The shooters, who were following orders from handlers located outside of the country, were injured in the gunfire and received medical attention at a district hospital. The police investigation uncovered plans to target social media influencers. According to police, comedian Munawar Farooqui was identified as a potential target. Reports indicate that Farooqui and several other influencers had previously been threatened.
