Mother’s Lover Killed by Sons in Chhattisgarh over Relationship

A disturbing case of homicide has emerged from the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The sons of a woman have been arrested for the murder of her lover, Balwinder, in Ahivara Ward 3. The victim, also known as Bunti, was in a live-in relationship with the woman. The police have initiated a post-mortem of the body. The sons stated that Balwinder was their mother’s partner, and she had previously separated from her husband. The woman and Balwinder began cohabitating, a situation that the sons strongly opposed, leading to ongoing family conflicts. The fatal attack occurred late Tuesday night. The sons were unhappy with Balwinder’s frequent visits to their home. Moreover, they suspected Balwinder of having relationships with other women, causing further strife. Late Tuesday night, an argument erupted. Trilochan used a shovel and Bhupesh used a stick to attack Balwinder, resulting in his death. The Nandini police were alerted and took possession of the body, transporting it to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination. Based on preliminary investigations, the police have detained the woman’s sons. During the interrogation, the sons admitted to the crime. Police believe the murder resulted from domestic issues arising from the woman’s separation, her live-in relationship with Balwinder, and concerns regarding his conduct. The police have filed a murder case and are currently questioning the suspects.
