Good news for people in Chhattisgarh who enjoy alcohol. The state government has designated October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanti, as a dry day for the financial year 2025-26. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh has ordered the closure of all types of liquor outlets in the district. This includes retail stores selling domestic, foreign, composite, and premium liquor, in addition to the FL-3 Sapna Bar & Restaurant and the liquor warehouse. All dealings involving alcohol will be strictly prohibited on this day.
