Karur Tragedy: TVK District Secretary Arrested, Probe Underway

Other TVK officials, including Bussy Anand and Nirmal Kumar, are also implicated in the FIR. They are charged with culpable homicide, endangering life, and disobedience to orders. The FIR places blame on the party and actor-politician Vijay, citing the delayed appearance of Vijay as a contributing factor, as the increased crowd attempted to get a better view of the actor, leading to a collapse of structures and the resulting stampede.
