Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson subsequently began to rebuild the innings, attempting to form a solid partnership. Sanju Samson was later out for 24, bowled by Abrar Ahmed. Shivam Dube then joined Tilak Varma, who performed well by scoring a half-century. The match came down to the wire, with India needing 24 runs off 14 balls. Shivam Dube hit a six, reducing the pressure, but was soon dismissed. Rinku Singh took to the crease and in the end, Tilak Varma’s six was the winning shot for India.
