Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi oversaw the direct transfer of funds to women in Bihar. The program aims to foster self-employment and enhance the financial stability of women. A sum of Rs 10,000 was transferred to each of the 75 lakh beneficiaries.
During the launch, Modi said, “I’ve been fortunate to share in the happiness of the women of Bihar during the auspicious time of Navratri. 75 lakh women have joined this scheme. The sum of Rs 10,000 has been sent into the bank accounts of all these women at once.”
