Tragedy struck in Maharashtra’s Gondia district as a five-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack. The incident took place in Sanjaynagar village, located in the Arjuni Morgaon tehsil. The boy, Ansh Prakash Mandal, was with his grandmother when the attack occurred on September 25th. The leopard dragged the child away, and despite immediate medical attention, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The local community responded with anger, initiating a protest that included blocking the road. Forest officials were later called to the scene to calm the situation.
