I’m certain I’ll die quickly: Testimony of Mariupol girl as Russia closes in on port town

4 weeks into the battle, the Russian troops have intensified their effort to pound Mariupol into submission, whilst Ukrainian officers have defiantly refused to lift white flags in give up. However because the battle continues, the citizens of the town have apparently resigned themselves to their destiny.

In a Fb publish, a Mariupol girl mentioned, “I’m certain I can die quickly. This is a subject of a couple of days. On this town, everyone seems to be repeatedly looking ahead to dying. I simply need it to not be too horrifying.”

The Ukrainian girl mentioned that her home is the one one with out direct hits within the space. She provides that the silence within the town makes her afraid.
