Kawasaki is reportedly working on the 2025 Kawasaki Z1100. Recent information indicates that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has registered new Kawasaki models for the 2026 model year. The list includes the new model code ZR1000H, alongside known models like the Ninja 1000 SX and Versys 1100. The initial images have been disclosed through a patent application in the EU.
The Z1100 will feature a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1,099cc, similar to the Ninja 1100 SX and Versys 1100, with comparable emissions. The bike is expected to launch with nearly identical technical specifications, with only minor differences. The Ninja 1100 SX is expected to generate 136 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm.
The Z1100 will potentially share an aluminum frame with the Ninja 1100 SX. The bike is expected to incorporate the double-sided swingarm, upside-down forks, and brakes as well. The naked Z model will likely have a more aggressive riding position. There is also a strong possibility that Kawasaki is developing an all-new chassis specifically for the Z1100, possibly using a tubular frame design to differentiate it further.
